This is Varuna ⛵️
Varuna is an Ovni 39 from 1989, I bought it in 2020 from his previous and only owner Jean-Claude, JC took really good care of it and now it’s my turn to do so. When I bought Varuna it was more of a Costal sailing boat and 2020 was ment to transform it into a circumnavigator (yeah that the plan ????).
Today (13 august 2021 ????), the boat is ready to set sail and departure is set to 1st of September, for the first year we will do a transatlantic starting from Brittany, France finishing in the Caribbean, after that we will see where the wind take us.
What is Varuna ?
Varuna is one of the god in Hindu religion 🙌, He is the god of the ocean 🌊 and the sky ⛅️, also the master of lines and knots he is always represented on his mount Makara 🐊 a legendary sea creature known for his stability

Ovni are made by Alutbat Shipyard, It’s an lifting centerboard aluminum boat. the ovnis are know for their versatility, strenght and stability, also know as circumnavigation boat, or 4×4 of the ocean.
